The Breaker module inserts a line between elements on your page.
Here’s how to add a breaker module to your page.
Step 1: Open the target page
In the website builder, open the page of your site that you want to add the breaker line to.
Step 2: Open the Modules tab
In the left sidebar menu, click on Modules:
Step 3: Locate the breaker module Icon
In the Modules sidebar, you will see the Breaker module icon.
Step 4: Click and drag the breaker module icon onto your page
Point your mouse at the breaker module, click and drag it onto your page to where you want to position a line. Then drop it.
As you drag it around the page, you will see black lines appear, indicating the edges of the existing elements on the page. Use these lines as guides help you drop your breaker module in the right place. For this example, we will add a breaker line between two images on the Projects page of the Elenore Designs template.
Below you can see the breaker module before it was dropped, hovering over the page. The black line indicates the edges of the elements the breaker will drop between.
After dropping the module:
Tip: To move the breaker, including removing it to the trash can, click the thick black grab bar in the center-top and drag it to a new location.
Step 5: Module Formatting options
Once you’ve added your breaker line, you might want to adjust its thickness or padding. Click it to open the format options bar:
To access the options on the format bar, click on the icons in the bar.
Here is a description of each of these options:
Padding is the amount of white space around your module. Your padding options are: None, Small, Medium or Large.
There are three thickness options to choose from. The default line is at the thinnest setting.
Below is how the breaker line looks after increasing thickness and padding:
Step 6: Saving the changes
Once you have finished with your Breaker, remember to click the Save button at the bottom center of the modules sidebar to save and protect your changes.
Now you know how to add and adjust a Breaker module.
If you want to just add space between elements without adding a line, use the Spacer module.
